At long last we have our Wayno Brake available. These are a new take on the unobtainium 53 series Jake Brake. They are made from 7075 billet aluminum and have numerous improvements over the original design. Each Wayno brake comes fully assembled and includes our custom installation bolts, rocker bridge, oil connector, seal, set screw plug, & Wayno Brake sticker. Here is what you will need to order for each engine type:
3-53 Detroit - 1 Master 2 Slaves
4-53 Detroit - 1 Master 3 Slaves
6v53 Detroit - 2 Masters 4 Slaves
8v53 Detroit - 2 Masters 6 Slaves
12v53 Detroit - HA! If you have one of these email me so I can talk you out of it.
DISCLAIMER - You need to be familiar with Detroits to install these as custom work is required. You need to provide them with 12v power, engine oil, and you will need a taller valve cover. We recommend you find a Detroit shop to install them. We are not responsible if you damage your engine by incorrect installation.

I have an original set of 53a Jake’s on a 6v and needed a set for my 3-53 purchased a set of Wayno brakes, didn’t want to miss out. Very glad I didn’t the production quality is amazing packaging is above and beyond. Half tempted to sell my originals and buy more of these for my 6v that’s how nice they are can’t comment on the functionality yet but I have every expectation they’ll be flawless I went over them with a fine tooth comb no burrs or random shavings anywhere! Very impressive thank you Wayno!
